The ice cream is amazing! Delicious and rich. It's a small place, but plenty of benches to sit on, and flowers to relax by. The staff are young folks from the community. If you can, feel free to throw a few dollars into the tip jar as it goes to their college fund(s)
If you want a great ice cream in small quantities- Smitty's is your place. The quality is superb but the quantity for the price is expensive! A hometown favorite who is worth a try!!

Sooo excited we drove 25 minutes for this ice cream! Everything was top notch and housemade from the ice cream to the topping to the whipped cream! We came before the summer season and you can tell the new teens we're being trained so we were happy to help! The biggest win was the housemade strawberry topping with chunks of real strawberry (think strawberry shortcake). Next level! Get a sundae so you can try their house made whipped cream!
When an ice cream shop has over 20 flavors, it's either going to be the best ice cream you've ever had or a major letdown. I think it's safe to say that Smitty's is more the former than the latter. They have a wide assortment of flavors that will satisfy even the pickiest customer, including bizarre options like Ginger and Red raz truffle. I decided to try their chocolate peanut butter and coffee oreo. It was deliciously creamy with just the right amount of toppings mixed in. Although a small will cost you more than 5 bucks, you can definitely tell that the ice cream is homemade. 5 stars all around!
Super cute spot to pick up an ice cream with the family. They had a ton of flavors to choose from. The ones I tried were really good, but they weren't at creamy as I would have liked. I would definitely go back and try more flavors though!
To whoever said the line moves quick is an understatement . Never have I ever been served ice cream as quick as I have here. Wanted the red truffle ice cream everyone is taking pictures of but was sold out so settled with small orange pineapple. Spot on flavor and consistency. Good thing I don't have five gallons of this sitting at home, I would be in trouble!
